Are you seeking a solution to hair loss or baldness that delivers natural-looking results?

Hair is often taken for granted until one starts to lose them and experiences balding.
Hair loss, a concern faced by countless men worldwide, can impact self-confidence and overall well-being. While genetics, hormones, and other factors play a role, the quest for solutions remains constant. One of the most sought-after and effective remedies is hair transplantation surgery.
Hair transplantation has evolved over the years, offering more sophisticated methods and improved outcomes. For men grappling with hair loss, it presents an exciting avenue to regain not just hair but also confidence. However, it’s crucial to consult with experienced professionals, understand the procedure thoroughly, and set realistic expectations. With the right approach, hair transplantation can be a transformative experience.
At Pari Skin & Hair Clinic, we specialise in the cutting-edge technique of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant that restores a full head of hair for renewed confidence and a rejuvenated appearance.
What is a Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant?
A FUE hair transplant is a minimally invasive procedure that uses the latest in transplantation techniques to restore a fuller, natural hairline, using your own hair. Before starting the procedure, the patient’s head is shaven and scalp is sterilised to minimise any infection. The surgeon then injects anaesthetic agent to numb the scalp. The grafts are individually extracted one by one from donor area using specialised punch needles to ensure minimal damage to the scalp skin and existing hair follicles. Each graft has about 1-4 hairs. Extracted hair follicles are planted in the desired region. The look of the hair in the recipient area after the transplant depends on the texture, quality, colour, number and length of the hair in the donor area. Donor hair can be extracted from any part of the body, which will be decided by your hair transplant surgeon.

The number of grafts required and density are dependent on the recipient area. Generally, from 1000-5000 follicular units of grafts are required. It can take about 8 hours (for up to 3500-4000 grafts) to complete the procedure. After the FUE hair transplant, it is important to follow the post-operative instructions to reduce the pain and avoid the grafts from getting damaged and other complications to happen.
What are the benefits of FUE hair transplants?

BIO-FUE is a cutting-edge, advanced method of hair transplant surgery, making it a popular choice for people suffering hair loss. There are many benefits of FUE hair procedures:
⦁ Natural-looking results with minimal scarring of the scalp.
⦁ Quicker recovery compared to traditional methods.
⦁ Minimal cutting means less pain, no stitching and little to no blood loss.
⦁ A quicker procedure with uniform depth of slits and faster healing.
⦁ Precision and customisation in the hair follicle placement on the scalp.
⦁ Use of the most advanced technology and techniques
Who are the Ideal Candidates for Male Hair Transplant?
Significant Hair Loss: Men experiencing considerable hair thinning or bald patches are typically good candidates.
Sufficient Donor Hair: You need to have enough healthy hair follicles in the donor area to transplant.
Realistic Expectations: While hair transplants can deliver impressive results, it’s essential to have realistic expectations regarding density, coverage, and the potential need for future sessions.
Good Health: As with any surgical procedure, being in good overall health can improve recovery and outcomes.
Continue Medications: You need to continue your medicines and solutions for long duration to keep your existing hairs intact.

What is the process for FUE hair transplants?
We employ two distinct approaches for FUE transplants, based on the extent of hair loss and your desired outcome.
Sapphire blades
Sapphire blades are favoured for their sharpness, smoothness, and the antimicrobial properties that reduce infection risks. They enable precise incisions, smaller than those made with steel blades.
BIO-FUE method
BIO-FUE (Biotechnology-Follicular Unit Extraction) is renowned for being painless and minimally invasive. It aims to enhance transplant results and strengthen existing hair. The procedure involves infusing regenerative cells from the patient’s blood into the FUE donor site, fostering rapid healing and hair growth. Follicular units are placed in a growth factor-rich medium to improve outcomes. Enriched cells are then injected into the transplanted area, stimulating quicker healing and hair growth, as well as increased density of the hair.
These innovative and advanced methods of FUE hair transplantation require the following steps in order to achieve the best outcomes.
Step 1: Consultation
Dr Kenit Ardeshna will assess your suitability for the FUE transplant surgery. He will discuss where the hair will be grafted from, the risks of the procedure and what to expect post-operatively. At this appointment he will also set a date for the procedure.
Step 2: Graft extraction
Specialised tools, such as sapphire blades, are used to carefully extract the grafts from the donor area. These specialised tools create micro incisions, much smaller than those created by steel blades. This results in minimal scab formation and enhanced recovery times.
Step 3: Graft preservation
Once the grafts are extracted they are preserved in a special sterile plasma solution to keep them viable and clean. The follicular units are then carefully placed in the medical refrigerator until the next step.
Step 4: Graft implantation
Once we are confident that we have extracted a suitable number of follicles from the donor site, we will begin implantation. Local anaesthesia is used to numb the area and reduce pain or discomfort before the follicular unit is transplanted to the balding area.
Step 5: Aftercare
Dr Kenit Ardeshna and his team will provide you with post-operative advice you need to follow after your procedure, including booking you in for a follow-up consultation. You will also be given a leaflet to take home that tells you about side effects and what to expect over the coming days and weeks
Immediately after hair transplant surgery

How you feel afterwards depends on the extent of surgery. After the operation, you can expect:
⦁ bruising and swelling
⦁ possible numbness
⦁ pain, throbbing and discomfort
⦁ a tight feeling in the scalp
⦁ to wear dressings or bandages (a pressure bandage may be worn for one or two days)
⦁ formation of small scabs across the treated areas of scalp.
Don’t worry if some hair falls out. This is part of the process. The transplanted hair may not grow much or seamlessly match the hair around it for a few months.
